When we talk about Reiki for Beginners, this is an interesting subject: the Reikian’s diet. Many people seek guidance on food after their attunement to Reiki, since they realize that food brings about sensations or oscillations in their own vibration.
As Reiki has no dogmas, rules, etc., in practice there is no specific diet for the Reikian. We can say that there is a healthy food from the energetic and vibrational point of view.
In the limit, this diet would be the famous “Living of Light”. There is a book called “Living with Light – the Source of Food for the New Millennium” by Jasmuheen which talks about this process, which is available to anyone who wants it.

Let me answer your question right away. Being a Reikian, do I need to be a vegetarian? The answer is “No.”
Being a Reikian doesn’t force you to do anything, it’s all part of your path in your own time.
Consider that by feeding on any other life form that has hormones and has crystallized feelings, you are absorbing that as programming into your DNA (this includes dairy products like milk, which has hormones from another species).
Meditate: what are you putting into your body? What energy, frequency, hormones are you putting into your vehicle?
Do you feel satisfied with it?
Then you are feeding yourself as perfectly as you can right now.
